Paul’s Longing to Visit Rome
8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world. 9 God, whom I serve in my spirit in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you 10 in my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by God’s will the way may be opened for me to come to you.
11 I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— 12 that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith. 13 I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters,[a] that I planned many times to come to you (but have been prevented from doing so until now) in order that I might have a harvest among you, just as I have had among the other Gentiles.

The Apostle Paul had a great concern for the Christians in Rome even though he had not yet met them. He wrote them a long letter with a lot of important teaching about the Christian Faith and how we should live as Christians.
Let us care about our brothers and sisters in Christ and try to encourage them in their faith. Meeting together weekly in a House to House Fellowship group is a good way to strengthen your faith and encourage others.

RUMI 1:8-13
8 Kwanza namshukuru Mungu wangu katika Yesu Kristo kwa ajili yenu nyote, kwa kuwa imani yenu inahubiriwa katika dunia nzima.
9 Kwa maana Mungu, nimwabuduye kwa roho yangu katika Injili ya Mwana wake, ni shahidi wangu jinsi niwatajavyo pasipo kukoma,
10 siku zote katika sala zangu, nikiomba nije kwenu hivi karibu, Mungu akipenda kuifanikisha safari yangu.
11 Kwa maana ninatamani sana kuwaona, nipate kuwapa karama ya rohoni, ili mfanywe imara;
12 yaani, tufarijiane mimi na ninyi, kila mtu kwa imani ya mwenzake, yenu na yangu.
13 Lakini, ndugu zangu, sipendi msiwe na habari, ya kuwa mara nyingi nalikusudia kuja kwenu, nikazuiliwa hata sasa, ili nipate kuwa na matunda kwenu ninyi pia kama nilivyo nayo katika Mataifa wengine.
Mtume Paulo alijali sana Wakristo wa Rumi hata wakati hakuwahi kuwaona. Mtume Paulo aliwaandikia Waraka mrefu wenye mafundisho kuhusu Imani ya Kikiristo na jinsi kuisha maisha ya kikristo duniani.
Sisi tunapaswa kujali ndugu zetu katika Kristo na kuwatia moyo katika imani yao. Kuhudhuria Ibada za Nyumba kwa Nyumba kila wiki ni njia nzuri kujengwa katika imani yako na kuwasidia na kutia moyo wakristo wenzako.
