Mathayo 19:13-15
13 Ndipo akaletewa watoto wadogo ili aweke mikono yake juu yao na kuwaombea; wanafunzi wake wakawakemea.
14 Lakini Yesu akasema, Waacheni watoto wadogo waje kwangu; wala msiwazuie; kwa maana walio mfano wa hao, ufalme wa mbinguni ni wao.
15 Akaweka mikono yake juu yao, akatoka huko.
Tuwapende watoto;
Yesu aliwakemea waliozuia watoto kuletwa kwake, akisema waachwe waje kwake, maana ufalme wa Mungu ni kwa hao walio kama watoto.
Tunakumbushwa kuwalea watoto katika njia sahihi ya imani, tukiwafundisha yapasayo katika njia ya ufuasi. Tuwafundishe kuishi maisha ya ibada na sala ili wakue katika imani ya kweli.
Pia tunaitwa kuwa wanyenyekevu mithili ya watoto, ili tuurithi ufalme wa Mungu. Yesu alitumia mfano wa watoto ili wanafunzi waone wanavyotakiwa kuwa wanyenyekevu. Watoto hutii, hupokea, husikia, hutumwa n.k Tukiwa kama watoto ufalme wa Mungu ni wetu.

Mathew 19:13-15
The Little Children and Jesus
13 Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them.
14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” 15 When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.
Let us love children;
Jesus rebuked those who restrained the children from being brought to him, saying, "Let them come to me, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
We are reminded to bring up children in the right way of faith, teaching them what is right in the way of discipleship. Let us teach them to live a life of worship and prayer so that they may grow up in true faith.
We are also called to be humble like children, so that we may inherit the kingdom of God. Jesus used a young child to make it clear that his disciples were to be humble. Children obey, receive, hear, are sent, etc. If we are as children, the kingdom of God is ours.
