THURSDAY 4TH JUNE 2020 MORNING
Isaiah 44:1-5 New International Version (NIV)
1 “But now listen, Jacob, my servant,
Israel, whom I have chosen.
2 This is what the Lord says—
he who made you, who formed you in the womb,
and who will help you:
Do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant,
Jeshurun,[a] whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land,
and streams on the dry ground;
I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring,
and my blessing on your descendants.
4 They will spring up like grass in a meadow,
like poplar trees by flowing streams.
5 Some will say, ‘I belong to the Lord’;
others will call themselves by the name of Jacob;
still others will write on their hand, ‘The Lord’s,’
and will take the name Israel.
In order to experience the outpouring of the Spirit you have to keep the Word of the Lord into your mind and heart every day and believe it.
The Spirit of God does not produce hope apart from the Word of God; and the Word of God does not produce hope apart from the Spirit of God. But the Spirit through the Word, and the Word by the Spirit, takes away fear, nourishes hope, fills with joy, overflows in love, and glorifies God.

ISAYA 44:1-5
1Lakini sikia sasa, Ee Yakobo, mtumishi wangu; na Israeli, niliyekuchagua;
2 Bwana, aliyekufanya, na kukuumba toka tumboni, yeye atakayekusaidia, asema hivi; Usiogope, Ee Yakobo, mtumishi wangu; na wewe, Yeshuruni, niliyekuchagua.
3 Kwa maana nitamimina maji juu yake aliye na kiu, na vijito vya maji juu ya mahali pakavu; nitamwaga roho yangu juu ya wazao wako, na baraka yangu juu yao utakaowazaa;
4 nao watatokea katika manyasi, kama mierebi karibu na mifereji ya maji.
5 Mmoja atasema, Mimi ni wa Bwana; na mwingine atajiita kwa jina la Yakobo; na mwingine ataandika juu ya mkono wake, Kwa Bwana, na kujiita kwa jina la Israeli.
Ili uweze kuona nguvu ya Roho mtakatifu ikifanya kazi ndani yako, ni vyema uliweke neno la Mungu ndani ya moyo na akili yako kila siku na kuliamini.
Roho wa Mungu hawezi kuleta tumaini lililo kinyume na Neno la Mungu; na Neno la Mungu haliwezi kuleta tumaini lililo tofauti na Roho wa Mungu. Lakini Roho kwa njia ya Neno, na Neno kwa njia ya Roho, huondoa woga, huzidisha tumaini, hutujaza furaha, hufurika katika pendo, na kumtukuza Mungu.
