1 Corinthians 3:16-23 New International Version (NIV)
16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
18 Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”[a]; 20 and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”[b] 21 So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas[c] or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23 and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.
Although we own things as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we do not belong to ourselves. We belong to our faithful Savior who loved us and gave Himself up for us; and together with Him, we belong to God.
All Christians and leaders, including all of our teachings and ministry, is in service to the church of Christ.

1WAKORINTHO 3:16-23
16 Hamjui ya kuwa ninyi mmekuwa hekalu la Mungu, na ya kuwa Roho wa Mungu anakaa ndani yenu?
17 Kama mtu akiliharibu hekalu la Mungu, Mungu atamharibu mtu huyo. Kwa maana hekalu la Mungu ni takatifu, ambalo ndilo ninyi.
18 Mtu asijidanganye mwenyewe; kama mtu akijiona kuwa mwenye hekima miongoni mwenu katika dunia hii, na awe mpumbavu, ili apate kuwa mwenye hekima.
19 Maana hekima ya dunia hii ni upuzi mbele za Mungu. Kwa maana imeandikwa, Yeye ndiye awanasaye wenye hekima katika hila yao.
20 Na tena, Bwana anayafahamu mawazo ya wenye hekima ya kwamba ni ya ubatili.
21 Basi, mtu ye yote na asijisifie wanadamu. Kwa maana vyote ni vyenu;
22 kwamba ni Paulo, au Apolo, au Kefa; au dunia, au uzima, au mauti; au vile vilivyopo sasa, au vile vitakavyokuwapo; vyote ni vyenu;
23 nanyi ni wa Kristo, na Kristo ni wa Mungu.
Ingawa sisi kama wafuasi wa Bwana wetu Yesu Kristo tunamiliki mali, hatuna haki juu yetu wenyewe.
Sisi tu mali yake mwokozi wetu mwaminifu ambaye alitupenda na akajitoa kwa ajili yetu; nasi pamoja naye tu mali ya Mungu.
Wakristo wote na viongozi katika imani, pamoja na mafundisho na huduma zote zitolewazo, ni kwa ajili ya kuujenga mwili wa Kristo.
