MONDAY 3RD AUGUST 2020  MORNING

Proverbs 12:5-9 New International Version (NIV)

5The plans of the righteous are just,
but the advice of the wicked is deceitful.

The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood,
but the speech of the upright rescues them.

The wicked are overthrown and are no more,
but the house of the righteous stands firm.

A person is praised according to their prudence,
and one with a warped mind is despised.

Better to be a nobody and yet have a servant
than pretend to be somebody and have no food.

The ways of the righteous man are the ways of God; but the wicked are deceivers, trying to convince others that lies are truth. Suffering comes to all; but the wicked cannot stand up to trials, because they have no source of strength (Jesus), to rely upon. A righteous person will stand firm in adversity knowing that God will see him through.

JUMATATU TAREHE 3 AGOSTI 2020  ASUBUHI

MITHALI 12:5-9

Afadhali mtu anayedharauliwa, ikiwa ana mtumwa, Kuliko ajisifuye, ikiwa anahitaji chakula.
