Amos 5:11-12 New International Version (NIV)

FRIDAY  28TH OCTOBER 2016 MORNING

Amos 5:11-12 New International Version (NIV)

11 You levy a straw tax on the poor
and impose a tax on their grain.
Therefore, though you have built stone mansions,

    you will not live in them;
though you have planted lush vineyards,

you will not drink their wine.
12 For I know how many are your offenses
    and how great your sins.

There are those who oppress the innocent and take bribes
and deprive the poor of justice in the courts.

God speaks to the rich and powerful people through the Prophet Amos. God sees what they do and He is not happy.

God declares that He will not bless the wealthy people who deny justice to the poor.

We still see those who have wealth and power oppressing others. Stand up for what is right. Do what you can to help and pray that God will help those in need.

IJUMAA TAREHE 28 OKTOBA 2016 ASUBUHI

AMOSI 5:11-12

Jitahidi kutetea wanyonge. Waombee wenye shida.
