FRIDAY 13TH DECEMBER 2019 MORNING ZEKARIAH 9:14-17
Zechariah 9:14-17 New International Version (NIV)
14 Then the Lord will appear over them;
his arrow will flash like lightning.
The Sovereign Lord will sound the trumpet;
he will march in the storms of the south,
15 and the Lord Almighty will shield them.
They will destroy
and overcome with slingstones.
They will drink and roar as with wine;
they will be full like a bowl
used for sprinkling[c] the corners of the altar.
16 The Lord their God will save his people on that day
as a shepherd saves his flock.
They will sparkle in his land
like jewels in a crown.
17 How attractive and beautiful they will be!
Grain will make the young men thrive,
and new wine the young women.
We must turn to God with lively faith; to him we must take refuge, and trust in his name under all trials and sufferings. There is a promise here that the Lord will deliver his people from their enemies and oppressors.

ZAKARIA 9:14-17
14 Naye Bwana ataonekana juu yao, Na mshale wake utatoka kama umeme; Na Bwana MUNGU ataipiga tarumbeta, Naye atakwenda kwa pepo za kisulisuli za kusini.
15 Bwana wa majeshi atawalinda; Nao watakula na kuyakanyaga mawe ya teo; Nao watakunywa na kufanya kelele kama kwa divai; Nao watajazwa kama mabakuli, kama pembe za madhabahu.
16 Na Bwana, Mungu wao, atawaokoa siku hiyo, Kama kundi la watu wake; Kwa maana watakuwa kama vito vya taji, Vikimeta-meta juu ya nchi yake.
17 Maana wema wake, jinsi ulivyo mwingi! Na uzuri wake, jinsi ulivyo mwingi! Nafaka itawasitawisha vijana wanaume, Na divai mpya vijana wanawake.
Tumgeukie Mungu kwa imani iliyo hai; tukimbilie kwake na kuamini katika Jina lake katika shida na mateso yote. Hapa tumeahidiwa kuwa, Bwana atawaokoa watu wake dhidi ya maadui na watesi wao.
