Waebrania 1:10-14
10 Na tena, Wewe,Bwana,hapo mwanzo uliitia misingi ya nchi, Na mbingu ni kazi za mikono yako;
11 Hizo zitaharibika, bali wewe unadumu; Nazo zote zitachakaa kama nguo,
12 Na kama mavazi utazizinga, nazo zitabadilika; Lakini wewe u yeye yule, Na miaka yako haitakoma.
13 Je! Yuko malaika aliyemwambia wakati wo wote, Uketi mkono wangu wa kuume Hata nitakapoweka adui zako chini ya nyayo zako?
14 Je! Hao wote si roho watumikao, wakitumwa kuwahudumu wale watakaourithi wokovu?
Kristo amepaa katika Utukufu wake;
Somo la leo asubuhi linaonesha ukuu wa Yesu Kristo. Ukisoma kuanzia mstari wa 5 unaona kuwa Yesu ni mkuu kuliko malaika. Somo linaonesha kuwa Yesu ndiye aliyeiweka misingi ya nchi kwa mkono wake, na ameendelea kuwa yuleyule asiyebadilika.
Ndiye Yesu huyu tunayemwamini aliyepaa mbinguni katika Utukufu. Mkazo hapa ni kuwa hakuondoka moja kwa moja, yupo, na atarudi tena kwa Utukufu. Tafakari akirudi atakukutaje?

Hebrews 1:10-14
10 He also says,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
11 They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
12 You will roll them up like a robe;
like a garment they will be changed.
But you remain the same,
and your years will never end.”[a]
13 To which of the angels did God ever say,
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet”[b]?
14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Christ has ascended into His Glory;
This morning's lesson shows the greatness of Jesus Christ. If you read from verse 5 you will see that Jesus is greater than the angels. The text shows that Jesus laid the foundations of the earth with his own hand, and he has remained the same.
This is the Jesus we believe in who ascended into heaven in Glory. The emphasis here is that He did not leave for good, He is present, and He will return again to Glory. Imagine how he will find you, when he returns.
