IJUMAA TAREHE 8 OKTOBA 2021, MORNING.
Mithali 7:1-3
1 Mwanangu, yashike maneno yangu,
Na kuziweka amri zangu akiba kwako.
2 Uzishike amri zangu ukaishi,
Na sheria yangu kama mboni ya jicho lako.
3 Zifunge katika vidole vyako;
Ziandike juu ya kibao cha moyo wako.
Tuwapende na kuwajali watoto;
Tunasoma juu ya kulishika neno la Mungu, tukizishika amri zake. Tunahimizwa kuziweka mioyoni mwetu, ili amri hizo zituongoze. Mtume Paulo aliwahi kuandika pia kuhusu neno la Mungu kukaa mioyoni mwetu;
Wakolosai 3:16
16 Neno la Kristo na likae kwa wingi ndani yenu katika hekima yote, mkifundishana na kuonyana kwa zaburi, na nyimbo, na tenzi za rohoni; huku mkimwimbia Mungu kwa neema mioyoni mwenu.
Wito huu wa kukaa na neno la Mungu moyoni tuufikishe hadi kwa watoto wetu. Tuwafundishe watoto wetu neno la Mungu. Tuwawekee mazingira ya kujifunza neno la Mungu, ili wakue wakimcha BWANA, na huo ndio utume mwema katika kulijenga kanisa la Kristo.

FRIDAY 8TH OKTOBA 2021, MORNING.
Proverbs 7:1-3
1 My son, keep my words
and store up my commands within you.
2 Keep my commands and you will live;
guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.
3 Bind them on your fingers;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Let us love and care for children;
We read about keeping God's word, keeping His commandments. We are encouraged to keep them in our hearts, so that those commandments may guide us. The apostle Paul also wrote about the word of God dwelling in our hearts;
Colossians 3:16
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord, as you sing to God with grace in your hearts.
This call to keep the word of God in our hearts should be passed on to our children. Let us teach our children the word of God. Let us set the stage for them to study the word of God, so that they may grow up fearing the Lord, and that is the good mission in building up the church of Christ.
