Genesis 45:21-24 New International Version (NIV)
21 So the sons of Israel did this. Joseph gave them carts, as Pharaoh had commanded, and he also gave them provisions for their journey. 22 To each of them he gave new clothing, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred shekels[a] of silver and five sets of clothes. 23 And this is what he sent to his father: ten donkeys loaded with the best things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and other provisions for his journey. 24 Then he sent his brothers away, and as they were leaving he said to them, “Don’t quarrel on the way!”

This week as well as thinking about The Holy Trinity we are thinking about maintaining Unity as Christians.
This passage is about restoring harmony and unity in a family. Joseph’s brothers had sold him into slavery in Egypt. But Joseph was able to see God’s hand in all that had happened to him. He forgave his brothers and invited them to bring their father and their families and come to live in Egypt to avoid the famine in Israel.
If you have had a quarrel with someone in your family do your best to forgive them and to be reconciled to them. Let us do our best to be peacemakers.

MWANZO 45:21-24
21 Ndivyo walivyofanya wana wa Israeli. Yusufu akawapa magari kama Farao alivyoamuru, akawapa na chakula cha njiani.
22 Akawapa kila mtu nguo za kubadili; lakini Benyamini, alimpa fedha mia tatu na mavazi matano ya kubadili.
23 Na babaye akampelekea kama hivi, punda kumi waliochukua mema ya Misri, na punda wake kumi waliochukua nafaka, na mikate, na chakula kwa babaye njiani.
24 Akaagana na ndugu zake, wakaenda zao; naye akawaambia, Msigombane njiani.
Kaka zake Yufusu walimuuza kuwa mtumwa kule Misri. Lakini Yusufu alikuwa tayari kuwasamehe. Yusufu aliona mkono ya Mungu katika yote yaliyotendeka. Yusufu aliwaambia kaka zake wamlete baba na familia zao Misri ili waepuke njaa kule Isaeli.
Jitahidi kuwa mpatanishi. Kama umegombana na ndugu yako msamehe na uombe msamaha. Jitahidi kupatana naye tena.
