Zaburi 104:16-23
16 Miti ya Bwana nayo imeshiba, Mierezi ya Lebanoni aliyoipanda.
17 Ndimo ndege wafanyamo vitundu vyao, Na korongo, misunobari ni nyumba yake.
18 Milima mirefu ndiko waliko mbuzi wa mwitu, Na magenge ni kimbilio la wibari.
19 Aliufanya mwezi kwa ajili ya nyakati, Jua latambua kuchwa kwake.
20 Wewe hufanya giza, kukawa usiku, Ndipo atambaapo kila mnyama wa mwitu.
21 Wana-simba hunguruma wakitaka mawindo, Ili kutafuta chakula chao kwa Mungu.
22 Jua lachomoza, wanakwenda zao, Na kujilaza mapangoni mwao.
23 Mwanadamu atoka kwenda zake kazini, Na kwenye utumishi wake mpaka jioni.
Tuulinde uumbaji;
Mwimbaji wa Zaburi anaimba akikiri kuwa Mungu ndiye muumbaji, na mtoaji. Anauelezea uumbaji wa Mungu ulivyotengeneza sura ya nchi, na jinsi viumbe vinavyofurahia uumbaji huo.
Wimbo huu yafaa ukae kwetu. Tuuimbe wimbo huu kwa matendo, yaani tutambue kuwa Mungu ameumba dunia, akatuweka sisi kuilinda, hivyo tunawajibika kuitunza. Epuka matendo yote yanayoharibu mazingira, hivyo kuharibu uumbaji.

Psalm 104:16-23 New International Version
16 The trees of the Lord are well watered,
the cedars of Lebanon that he planted.
17 There the birds make their nests;
the stork has its home in the junipers.
18 The high mountains belong to the wild goats;
the crags are a refuge for the hyrax.
19 He made the moon to mark the seasons,
and the sun knows when to go down.
20 You bring darkness, it becomes night,
and all the beasts of the forest prowl.
21 The lions roar for their prey
and seek their food from God.
22 The sun rises, and they steal away;
they return and lie down in their dens.
23 Then people go out to their work,
to their labour until evening.
Protect creation;
The psalmist sings acknowledging that God is the creator, and the giver. He describes God's creation as forming the earth, and how creatures enjoy such creation.
This song should stay with us. Let us sing this song in action, that is, let us realize that God created the world, put us in charge of it, so we have a responsibility to care for it. Avoid all actions that damage the environment, thus ruining creation.
