Romans 11:28-32 New International Version (NIV)
28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now[a] receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

The Apostle Paul writes to the Roman Christians about the Jewish People. God revealed Himself first to the Jewish people though the call of Abraham and the Commandments given to Moses and through the Prophets. However the Jewish people had mostly not accepted Jesus Christ as the prophesied Messiah. Instead Gentiles, like those in the Church in Rome, had trusted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Paul believed that his fellow Jews would later come to faith in Christ.
Have you truly trusted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? Are you being guided by The Holy Spirit every day?

RUMI 11:28-32
28 Basi kwa habari ya Injili wamekuwa adui kwa ajili yenu; bali kwa habari ya kule kuchaguliwa wamekuwa wapenzi kwa ajili ya baba zetu.
29 Kwa sababu karama za Mungu hazina majuto, wala mwito wake.
30 Kwa maana kama ninyi zamani mlivyomwasi Mungu, lakini sasa mmepata rehema kwa kuasi kwao;
31 kadhalika na hao wameasi sasa, ili kwa kupata rehema kwenu wao nao wapate rehema.
32 Maana Mungu amewafunga wote pamoja katika kuasi ili awarehemu wote.
Mtume Paulo alikuwa anawaandikia Wakristo kule Rumi kuhusu Wayahudi. Mungu alijifunua kwanza kwa Wayahudi kwa njia ya wito wa Ibrahimu, na amri alizopewa Musa na kupitia Manabii. Wakati Yesu Kristo alipokuja duniani si Wayahudi wengi walimtambua na kumwamini kama Mesihi aliyetabiriwa na Manabii wao. Watu wa Mataifa kama Warumi walipata neema kumwamini Yesu Kristo. Lakini Paulo aliamini kwamba Wayahudi wenzake wengi watakuja kuamini baadaye.
Wewe je! Umemwamini Yesu Kristo kama Bwana na Mwokozi wako? Unatembea kila siku ukiongozwa na Roho Mtakatifu?
