JUMAMOSI TAREHE 11 SEPTEMBA 2021, ASUBUHI.
Kumbukumbu la Torati 12:5-7
5 Lakini mahali atakapochagua BWANA, Mungu wenu, katika kabila zenu zote, apaweke jina lake, maana, ni makao yake, elekezeni nyuso zenu hapo, nawe wende huko;
6 pelekeni huko sadaka zenu za kuteketezwa, na dhabihu zenu, na zaka zenu, na sadaka ya kuinuliwa ya mikono yenu, na nadhiri zenu, na sadaka zenu za hiari, na wazaliwa wa kwanza wa makundi yenu ya ng’ombe na ya kondoo;
7 na huko mtakula mbele za BWANA, Mungu wenu, nanyi furahini katika yote mtakayotia mikono yenu, ninyi na wa nyumbani mwenu, aliyokubarikia BWANA, Mungu wako.
Uwakili wetu kwa Bwana;
Mungu anaelekeza kuwa sadaka isitolewe kwa miungu mingine, bali kwake. Tunasoma kuwa sadaka itolewe mahali alipopachagua Bwana. Mahali hapo ni hekaluni mwake.
Hapa Mungu anatuonya juu ya imani nyingine. Anatutaka tumwamini yeye aliyetuumba na kutukomboa, tukimfanyia ibada na kumtolea sadaka. Imani yetu iwe kwa Mungu wetu, Baba, Mwana na Roho Mtakatifu, tumwabudu yeye peke yake tukiendelea kuwa mawakili wema kwake.
Bwana ametuchagua sisi, akachagua Kanisa lake. Hima tumwabudu na kumtolea sadaka.

SATURDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2021, MORNING
Deuteronomy 12:5-7
5 But you are to seek the place the Lord your God will choose from among all your tribes to put his Name there for his dwelling. To that place you must go; 6 there bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks. 7 There, in the presence of the Lord your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the Lord your God has blessed you.
Our stewardship to the Lord;
God directs that sacrifices should not be offered to other gods, but to him. We read that the offering should be made at the place the Lord chose. That place is in his temple.
Here God warns us about other faiths. He wants us to believe in Him who created us and redeemed us, worshiping Him and offering sacrifices to Him. Our faith is in our God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and we worship Him alone and continue to be good advocates for Him.
The Lord has chosen us, He has chosen His Church. Let us worship Him and give our offerings to Him.
