Matthew 5:4-7

FRIDAY 9TH NOVEMBER 2018 MORNING

Matthew 5:4-7 New International Version (NIV)

Blessed are those who mourn,
    for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.

The above are some of the Beatitudes or Beautiful attitudes which Jesus talked about in The Sermon on the Mount.

When we are bereaved God will comfort us, and we should also comfort those who are mourning. Let us strive for righteousness and justice. Let us show compassion and mercy to others.  As Christians we have the Holy Spirit in our hearts. We need to agree to be lead by the Holy Spirit so that we can become the type of people who love and care for other people. May God help us to show His love in the world.

What can you do today to be a blessing to someone?

IJUMAA TAREHE 9  NOVEMBA 2018 ASUBUHI

MATHAYO 5:4-7

Heri wenye huzuni; Maana hao watafarijika.
Heri wenye upole; Maana hao watairithi nchi.
Heri wenye rehema; Maana hao watapata rehema.
