JUMAMOSI TAHERE 16 OKTOBA 2021, ASUBUHI.
Matendo ya Mitume 3:1-10
1 Basi Petro na Yohana walikuwa wakikwea pamoja kwenda hekaluni, saa ya kusali, saa tisa.
2 Na mtu mmoja aliyekuwa kiwete toka tumboni mwa mamaye alichukuliwa na watu, ambaye walimweka kila siku katika mlango wa hekalu uitwao Mzuri, ili aombe sadaka kwa watu waingiao ndani ya hekalu.
3 Mtu huyu akiwaona Petro na Yohana wakiingia hekaluni aliomba apewe sadaka.
4 Na Petro, akimkazia macho, pamoja na Yohana, akasema, Tutazame sisi.
5 Akawaangalia, akitaraji kupata kitu kwao.
6 Lakini Petro akasema, Mimi sina fedha, wala dhahabu, lakini nilicho nacho ndicho nikupacho. Kwa jina la Yesu Kristo wa Nazareti, simama uende.
7 Akamshika mkono wa kuume, akamwinua, mara nyayo zake na vifundo vya miguu yake vikatiwa nguvu.
8 Akaondoka upesi akasimama, akaanza kwenda; akaingia ndani ya hekalu pamoja nao, akienda, akiruka-ruka, na kumsifu Mungu.
9 Watu wote wakamwona akienda, akimsifu Mungu.
10 Wakamtambua, ya kuwa yeye ndiye aliyekuwa akiketi na kuomba sadaka penye mlango Mzuri wa hekalu; wakajaa ushangao wakastaajabia mambo yale yaliyompata.
Nguvu ya Imani katika Yesu Kristo;
Petro na Yohana wakienda kusali hekaluni wanakutana na mhitaji mlangoni. Petro anafanya sala na yule kiwete anatembea.
Petro aliomba katika jina la Yesu. Kumbe, tunapoomba tumuombe Yesu kwa imani, naye hutusikia. Kama kiwete alivyotembea, nasi tutapata mahitaji yetu tukiomba kwa imani.

ACTS 3:1-10
1 One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. 2 Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. 3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. 4 Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” 5 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” 7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. 8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. 9 When all the people saw him walking and praising God, 10 they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
The Power of Faith in Jesus Christ;
While Peter and John are heading to pray in the temple, they meet a needy man at the entrance. Peter prays and the lame man walks.
Peter prayed in Jesus' name and the lame man was healed. When we pray, we should pray to Jesus in faith, and he will hear us. As the lame man walked, we will get our needs when praying in faith.
