John 9:35-41 New International Version (NIV)
Spiritual Blindness
35 Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
36 “Who is he, sir?” the man asked. “Tell me so that I may believe in him.”
37 Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.”
38 Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.
39 Jesus said,[a] “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”
40 Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?”
41 Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.

Jesus had healed a blind man on the Sabbath day. The Pharisees were annoyed with Jesus because they said He had broken the Sabbath. They were also annoyed with the man who had been healed because he refused to agree with the Pharisees that Jesus was a sinner. Jesus enabled the healed man also to gain spiritual sight but He condemned the Pharisees for the spiritual blindness.
Pray that you would truly see Jesus and obey Him in your life.

YOHANA 9:35-41
35 Yesu akasikia kwamba wamemtoa nje; naye alipomwona alisema, Wewe wamwamini Mwana wa Mungu?
36 Naye akajibu akasema, Ni nani, Bwana, nipate kumwamini?
37 Yesu akamwambia, Umemwona, naye anayesema nawe ndiye.
38 Akasema, Naamini, Bwana. Akamsujudia.
39 Yesu akasema, Mimi nimekuja ulimwenguni humu kwa hukumu, ili wao wasioona waone, nao wanaoona wawe vipofu.
40 Baadhi ya Mafarisayo waliokuwapo pamoja naye wakasikia hayo, wakamwambia, Je! Sisi nasi tu vipofu?
41 Yesu akawaambia, Kama mngekuwa vipofu, msingekuwa na dhambi; lakini sasa mwasema, Twaona; basi dhambi yenu inakaa.
Yesu amliponya kipofu siku ya Sabato. Mafarisayo walikasirika kwa sababu waliona kwamba amevunja amri ya kupumzika siku ya Sabato. Mafarisayo pia walimkasirikia yule ambaye aliponywa kwa sababu hakukubali kwamba Yesu ni mwenye dhambi.
Katika mistari ya leo Yesu alimpa yule mtu nafasi kumwamini Yesu kama Bwana na Mwokozi. Pia Yesu alisema kwamba Mafarisayo ni vipofu wa kiroho.
Mwombe Mungu uweze kumwona Yesu kikamilifu na umtii katika maisha yako.
