SATURDAY 17TH AUGUST 2019 MORNING
John 5:18-21 New International Version (NIV)
18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. 19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
21 Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.
When we have trusted in Jesus Christ and been baptized as Christians the Holy Spirit lives in us. The Holy Spirit helps us to obey God’s laws and turn from sin. We are no longer under the control of Satan. We can choose to do what is right.
Thank God that He has freed you from the power of Satan. Live a one who has been freed to serve God.

1 YOHANA 5:18-21
18 Twajua ya kuwa kila mtu aliyezaliwa na Mungu hatendi dhambi; bali yeye aliyezaliwa na Mungu hujilinda, wala yule mwovu hamgusi.
19 Twajua ya kuwa sisi tu wa Mungu; na dunia yote pia hukaa katika yule mwovu.
20 Nasi twajua kwamba Mwana wa Mungu amekwisha kuja, naye ametupa akili kwamba tumjue yeye aliye wa kweli, nasi tumo ndani yake yeye aliye wa kweli, yaani, ndani ya Mwana wake Yesu Kristo. Huyu ndiye Mungu wa kweli, na uzima wa milele.
21 Watoto wadogo, jilindeni nafsi zenu na sanamu.
