Ecclesiastes 9:9-10 New International Version (NIV)
9 Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, all the days of this meaningless life that God has given you under the sun—all your meaningless days. For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome labor under the sun. 10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.
It is good to enjoy life and God planned marriage to be a blessing to both husband and wife and to the whole society. King Solomon talks about life being meaningless. Our lives should not be meaningless if God comes first. Let us not just seek our personal happiness but let us seek to honour God and to bless people. When we put God first and love Him and other people then our lives will have true purpose and value.

MHUBIRI 9: 9-10
9 Uishi kwa furaha pamoja na mke umpendaye, siku zote za maisha yako ya ubatili, ulizopewa chini ya jua; siku zote za ubatili wako, kwa maana huo ni sehemu yako ya maisha; na katika taabu zako ulizozitaabika chini ya jua.
10 Lo lote mkono wako utakalolipata kulifanya, ulifanye kwa nguvu zako; kwa kuwa hakuna kazi, wala shauri, wala maarifa, wala hekima, huko kuzimu uendako wewe.
Ni vyema kwa mume na mke kupendana na kufurahia ndoa yao. Mungu ni mwazilishi wa ndoa na anataka ndoa iwe baraka kwa wahusika na kwa jamii kwa jumla.
Mfalme Sulemani anasema maisha ni ubatili. Maisha hayapaswi kuwa batili. Maisha ni ya thamani sana ni zawadi kutoka Mungu. Tumweke Mungu katika Nafasi ya kwanza katika maisha yetu. Tumheshimu Mungu na tuwapenda binadamu wenzetu. Tukifanya hivi tukiongozwa na Roho Mtakatifu maisha yetu yatakuwa na maana nzuri na yatakuwa baraka kwetu na kwa jamii.
