MONDAY 2nd JULY 2018 MORNING
Daniel 1:17-21 New International Version (NIV)
17 To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.
18 At the end of the time set by the king to bring them into his service, the chief official presented them to Nebuchadnezzar. 19 The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king’s service. 20 In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom.
21 And Daniel remained there until the first year of King Cyrus.
Daniel and his friends were young people who were intelligent, wise and well educated. But even more important they were dedicated to God. They put God first in their lives. They went through many challenges but God protected them.
Pray for young people who are dedicated to God and who are committed to serving God by developing and using their gifts and abilities.

DANIELI 1:17-21
17 Basi, kwa habari za hao vijana wanne, Mungu aliwapa maarifa na ujuzi katika elimu na hekima; Danielii naye alikuwa na ufahamu katika maono yote, na ndoto.
18 Hata mwisho wa siku zile alizoziagiza mfalme za kuwaingiza, mkuu wa matowashi akawaingiza mbele ya mfalme Nebukadreza.
19 Naye mfalme akazungumza nao; na miongoni mwao wote hawakuonekana waliokuwa kama Danielii, na Hanania, na Mishaeli, na Azaria; kwa hiyo wakasimama mbele ya mfalme.
20 Na katika kila jambo la hekima na ufahamu alilowauliza mfalme, akawaona kuwa walifaa mara kumi zaidi ya waganga na wachawi waliokuwa katika ufalme wake.
21 Tena, Danielii huyo akadumu huko hata mwaka wa kwanza wa mfalme Koreshi.
Danieli na marafiki zake walikuwa vijana wenye hekima, akili na elimu. Muhimu zaidi walimpenda Mungu na walimtumikia kwa uwezo wao wote. Walipita kwenye changamoto nzito lakini Mungu aliwatetea na kuwalinda.
Tuombee vijana wampende Mungu na wamtumikie kwa njia ya kukuza na kutumia vizuri vipaji vyao vyote.
