THURSDAY 12TH JANUARY 2017 MORNING

Acts 16:31-34 New International Version (NIV)

31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized. 34 The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole household.

Paul and Silas were imprisoned because of their faith. They did not complain but continued to worship God. They had an opportunity to share their faith with the jailor and he and his family believed.  They were then baptized as Christians.

Paul and Silas made the most of every opportunity to serve God. Notice what blessing their faithfulness brought to the jailor and his family. Ask God to use you to be a blessing to others.

MATENDO 16:31-34
