Acts 14:3-10 New International Version (NIV)
3 So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to perform signs and wonders. 4 The people of the city were divided; some sided with the Jews, others with the apostles. 5 There was a plot afoot among both Gentiles and Jews, together with their leaders, to mistreat them and stone them. 6 But they found out about it and fled to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra and Derbe and to the surrounding country, 7 where they continued to preach the gospel.
In Lystra and Derbe
8 In Lystra there sat a man who was lame. He had been that way from birth and had never walked. 9 He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed 10 and called out, “Stand up on your feet!” At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.
Can we have the heart of Paul and Barnabas and allow nothing to stop us? Nothing stopped Jesus from doing God's will on our behalf; as we look to Him, we will not be stopped either. What will take you back from doing God's will? Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ, our Lord.

MATENDO YA MITUME 14:3-10
3 Basi wakakaa huko wakati mwingi, wakinena kwa ushujaa katika Bwana, aliyelishuhudia neno la neema yake, akiwajalia ishara na maajabu yatendeke kwa mikono yao.
4 Lakini jamii ya watu wa mjini wakafarakana; hawa walikuwa upande wa Wayahudi, na hawa upande wa Mitume.
5 Hata palipotokea shambulio la watu wa Mataifa na Wayahudi pamoja na wakubwa wao juu yao, kuwatenda jeuri na kuwapiga kwa mawe,
6 wao wakapata habari wakakimbilia Listra na Derbe, miji ya Likaonia, na nchi zilizo kando kando;
7 wakakaa huko, wakiihubiri Injili.
8 Na huko Listra palikuwa na mtu mmoja, dhaifu wa miguu, kiwete tangu tumboni mwa mamaye, ambaye hajaenda kabisa.
9 Mtu huyo alimsikia Paulo alipokuwa akinena; ambaye akamkazia macho na kuona ya kuwa ana imani ya kuponywa,
10 akasema kwa sauti kuu, Simama kwa miguu yako sawasawa. Akasimama upesi akaenda.
Je, tunaweza kuwa na moyo kama wa Paulo na Barnaba, kutoruhusu kitu chochote kutuzuia? Hakuna kilichoweza kumzuia Yesu katika kutenda mapenzi ya Mungu kwa niaba yetu; na tukimtazama na kumfuata, hakuna jambo litakalotuzuia pia. Ni kitu gani kitakuzuia katika kutenda mapenzi ya Mungu? Hakuna kitakachotutenga na upendo wa Kristo, Bwana wetu.
