SATURDAY 19TH JANUARY 2019 MORNING 2 PETER 1:16-18
2 Peter 1:16-18 New International Version (NIV)
16 For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”[a] 18 We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.
2 Peter 1:17 Matt. 17:5; Mark 9:7; Luke 9:35
The Apostle Peter knew what he was talking about. He spent three years with Jesus. He saw the miracles and heard Jesus’ teachings. He saw Jesus transfigured on the mountain and heard the voice of God the Father confirming His son. Peter wants his readers to be sure that what he says about Jesus Christ is true.

JUMAMOSI TAREHE 19 JANUARI 2019 ASUBUHI
2 PETRO 1:16-18
