1 Timothy 6:6-10 New International Version (NIV)

But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. Those who want to get rich, fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

The Apostle Paul warns Timothy of the dangers of wrong attitudes to money. Money is a very useful tool but it can become like a god in a person’s life. If money is too important to us there is a danger that we will be tempted to do sinful and illegal things to gain money.   Let us examine our hearts and lives and see how we earn money and how we spend it.

1 TIMOTHEO 6:6-10

Kwa maana hatukuja na kitu duniani, tena hatuwezi kutoka na kitu;

Mtume Paulo alimwonya Timotheo kuhusu mitazamo mibaya kuhusu Fedha.
