God speaks to the Jewish people through the prophet Jeremiah. God complains that the people have not followed His laws and they have refused to repent of their sins. Let us as Christians examine our lives. Let us check what the Bible teaches us about how to live. Let us repent of our sins and turn back to God. Then God will forgive us and heal us and bless us.

An important principle for all Christians is established in the above verses. As Christians we are required by God to do certain things. For instance we are expected to obey the Ten Commandments. We are also to be loyal citizens of our own country or the country in which we live. We must obey the laws of our country and pay taxes as we are required. As Christians we have dual citizenship. We are citizens of heaven and of our country here on earth.
