17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord,
and he will reward them for what they have done.
When you help those in need your actions have a double impact. They will help the one who receives and also bring blessing to the giver. Your actions are pleasing to God.
There are very many people around us who have different needs. We can feel overwhelmed. We cannot help everyone. May God give us wisdom as to whom to help and what is appropriate help.

17 Amhurumiaye maskini humkopesha Bwana; Naye atamlipa kwa tendo lake jema.
Wakati unamsaidia mhitaji kuna baraka pande mbili. Mpokeaji amesaidiwa na wewe mtoaji unabarikiwa na Mungu.
Kuna watu wengi sana wenye mahitaji mbalimbali. Hatuwezi kusaidia wote. Mungu atupe hekima tumsaidie nani na kwa njia gani.
